This venue is conveniently located near the A1 autobahn, restaurant, and a large forest, boasting comfortable beds and welcoming, attentive staff.

The breakfast was rich and very very good, had plenty of food. Particularly good location in the pretty quiet area and it was a bonus to be very close to a motorway. No complaints, the venue met expectation, couldn't recommend more it.

We had a great time staying in a guest room with a comfy bed and all the necessary amenities at this place.

It was a perfect short stop close to the autobahn, to eat and sleep, when going by car to the south. The food was good and in the morning the breaskfeasthost gave us a thermos filled with coffe to take away with no extra charge. It was all clean and neat!

Easy access off main road and less than 30 mins from city of Hamburg

The accommodations here are modern and come with comfortable beds, and the service from the staff is excellent with attentive and competent employees.

Large room size, countryside feel, nice restaurant and good food. We will stay here again for sure!

Delightful peaceful location surrounded by woods with lovely walks. Dinner was excellent both in terms of cooking and value for money. Lovely wine. Room very spacious. I had to book a double room as no singles available. I noted in the booking comments that I would be a single occupant and was only charged single occupancy.

This is not a criticism of the hotel - there are currently (May 2011) major roadworks on the roads between the A1 and the hotel when approaching from the east. Follow the big yellow U1 signs to the last junction before the hotel; turn right!

This place is located in a beautiful area, with a quiet and serene atmosphere, close to the restaurant, reception, A1 autobahn.

the staff/owners were very friendly, efficient and helpful. We rode the train into the City so it was easy to get around.

there wasn't an extra plug in the bathroom for hairdryer or curling iron. Had to sit on the floor in the bedroom to use plug

Nice location, only 10 minutes walk from the centre. Found in a such beautiful part of the town. - New-fashioned, wonderful room with coffee and comfortable bed. - the really helpful and attentive staff and their attitude

Convenient and nice countryside location away, but still close to the autobahn. Old family style (the inn-keeper or his family still keep cattle in the fields around the hotel), but part of a hotel chain to ensure modern quality.

Wireless did not work well.

This hotel was very convenient to the main roads, yet was in a beautiful countryside setting. A very pleasant visit.
